Calliope West prides itself on providing personal service for our clients using kindness, moral transparency, mutual respect and collaboration. We chose the name Calliope because that is the smallest species of hummingbird in North America; it is extremely resilient and nests in the Rockies. Calliope is also the Greek muse of eloquence and poetry. Hummingbirds are constantly moving, working quickly and efficiently. We help our clients achieve their dreams with the same vigorous alacrity.
Our talent management company has clients with WME, A3, UTA, ICM, APA, Innovative, KMR, AKA, AEFH, Talentworks, SMS, Media Artists Group, Sovereign, Metropolitan, LB Talent, Ellis Talent Group, etc… we have clients that are multiple series regulars, celebrities, as well as the star of Seinfeld, Family Feud, and Dancing with the Stars– John O’Hurley. 5 time Series Regular Mauricio Mendoza, star of SHOWTIME’s award-winning drama Resurrection Boulevard, Latin American Celebrity Marlene Favela, 3 time Series Regular Allie Gonino of IFTV’s The Red Road, The Lying Game, and 10 Things I Hate About You, Elizabeth Rice who played Margaret Sterling on Mad Men for 7 seasons, Allan McLeod who played Jimmy on You’re the Worst for 5 seasons, 2 Season Series Regular on BET+ and star of Disney’s Sneakerella (2021) Yvonne Senat Jones, 2 Season Series Regular on Showtime Celeste Pechous, and Lassie’s original Timmy, Jon Provost. Last Sundance FF saw client Clint Carmichael in Blumhouse’s Run Sweetheart Run, and Allan McLeod in Netflix and Jason Baena’s Horse Girl opp Alison Brie. We celebrate our client Michael Villar who stars in Oscar winning film “Skin” opp Danielle MacDonald and Lani Chavis, as well as Sundance Film Festival Episodic star Celeste Pechous, who just shot her second season as Series Regular on Showtime’s Work In Progress EPed by Lilly Wachowski, nominated for a GLAAD award. Jason Liles just booked a Series Regular on Crypt TV and Facebook Watch’s new series Stereoscope, and is a major studio feature star. AFI Fest Closing Night Film ‘I am Woman’ starred client Dusty Sorg opp Danielle MacDonald, Evan Peters, Chris Parnell. More recent Sundance Films and studio features included Dion Earl in Gus Van Sant’s “Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far On Foot” opp Joaquin Phoenix, and Safiya Fredericks in “Sorry to Bother You” opp Lakeith Stanfield. We had two clients in Sundance films the year before, several other Sundance alum clients, and clients in Oscar winning films like The Revenant, Argo, The Social Network, Hail Caesar! and more.
Calliope West has a thriving Below the Line Department with clients that include George Loucas of Baked FX, who has Visual Effects Supervised such films as Beatriz at Dinner, Jumanji: The Next Level, Talladega Nights, and The Clapper, and such Sundance hits as Nine Days, The Infiltrator and any more. 2020 also saw his work on HBO’s A Black Lady Sketch Show among countless studio feature credits.
